The “Why” behind the struggle

Have you ever found yourself wrestling with questions like these?

  • Why does uncertainty feel so terrifying?

  • Why is it hard to believe I deserve love?

  • Why do I sabotage my own stability?

  • Why does achievement sometimes leave me waiting for the other shoe to drop?

  • Why can’t I leave what hurts me?

  • Why does joy sometimes bring guilt instead of peace?

These aren't just idle thoughts—they're messengers. Often, they're pointing to something deeper, patterns formed long before you knew to question them.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy helps address these “why” questions. We will together learn how your mind works. You'll start to see the hidden logic behind your emotions and behaviors, and how rewriting that story can change everything.

What is Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a treatment developed from the psychoanalytic theoretical method. It typically requires the therapist and the client meet weekly (or sometimes twice a week), sitting face-to-face (in person or virtual), as the client is encouraged to speak whatever is on their mind. Memories, worries, dreams, even those thoughts that feel too "random" or uncomfortable to voice elsewhere.
